Good to know:

The application of GIGAGLIDE compared to paraffin wax is completely different, as GIGAGLIDE is water-based and does not seal the surface.

While wax "seals the surface", GIGAGLIDE penetrates the surface, settles there, and makes the surface itself "faster". Therefore, you will not notice that the ski becomes "saturated" or "greasy".

GIGAGLIDE Application

Never store below -6°C or apply in temperatures below -6°C.

Scenario 1 - Ski preparation after a previous GIGAGLIDE application:

1. Apply GIGAGLIDE to the dry, clean ski base.

2. Absorption time:

• 5 minutes = 1 day of slope fun.

• 12 hours = multiple days of slope fun.

3. Polish thoroughly with a cotton cloth.

4. Hit the slopes!

Scenario 2 - Ski preparation after a paraffin wax application:

1. Remove paraffin residues (brush out, ski it off, or use a ski wax remover).

2. Apply GIGAGLIDE to the dry, clean ski base.

3. Absorption time:

• 5 minutes = 1 day of slope fun.

• 12 hours = multiple days of slope fun.

4. Polish thoroughly with a cotton cloth.

5. Hit the slopes!

Scenario 3 - Ski preparation after frequent fluor wax applications:

GIGAGLIDE does NOT work on skis that have been regularly treated with fluor-based waxes—even if the applications were some time ago!
